The Reset Episode

This week, I'm plunging into the liberation of being laid off, how sometimes derailments can actually bring us back into alignment with our true dreams and why pauses are the greatest ingredient for success.

So many times, I thought I was on the right track to making my dreams come to fruition. And as soon as I felt that, something would rise up in my gut that a change was coming. It would manifest as restlessness or uncertainty, but sometimes it would come right out of the blue. It's taken me a few blows to my ego to realize that often, we hold onto things that aren't serving us, so a greater force has to remove us from that situation. It's not always pretty, but oh so very necessary. Like, I've said before---sometimes, you have to cut back to move forward.

We become so convinced that the answer to all of our problems is that there is not enough in our lives, but the truth is that there are too many distractions to allow us to see the beauty of our lives.
